Greetings Brownsville Center!
I am very pleased to be assigned as the Director of IRRA, Inc. Brownsville Center. My name is Mr. Paul Rudnik and I am the new Brownsville Center Director. This is an exciting place to be and we are in very exciting times. With new faces come new opportunities for learning and growth. Please keep in touch with this web site for announcements of programs and activities as they arise. We will be asking for students and parents contributions to what goes on here, how decisions are made, and how we can best serve the community. Volunteers are always welcome!
We have been awarded a few grants from the Texas Education Agency. One is for a new science lab. This will be a 'portable', meaning moveable, building that will be placed near the present building and will come fully stocked with latest science equipment. We have also been given a school improvement grant that will help us improve graduation rates, reduce dropouts and absenteism.
The entire staff will be focused on the new three 'R's: relationships, rigor, and relevance. We promise that we will do everything we can to get you through your graduation plan. We will even assist you with post-secondary education opportunities.
Thank you for stopping by and come again soon. In fact, why not stop by for a visit? We'll be happy to show you around and talk with about some exciting things happening here at the Brownsville Center.
Mr. Paul Rudnik, Director
